Dear All:
Year of Golden mouse was proven to be a complicated year.
Great things such as Olympic Beijing game achieved great success, most of us are still
healthy and happy, our children are growing stronger and brighter, and most hard
working people still got their rewards. To the negative, ice storm, earthquake hit China,
and worldwide financial crises and economic distress may have affected some of us
directly or indirectly.
But, we are glad the year of cunning mouse is over. It is honest Ox’s turn now. Let’s all
hope the year of Ox will bring “Bull and Boom” to our community Buffalo, Bull and Boom
physically, mentally, and financially!!!
As my two years of service is officially over, I want to borrow this opportunity to express
my gratefulness to the committee members. It has been truly a pleasure to get
associated with the group of people, who has actively volunteered their valuable time,
dedicated and committed to our community works and cooperated seamlessly as a
super team. I also want to thank all members, teachers or sub-organization leaders who
participated, supported and helped our various events. Together, we have made a
decent difference to children in the Sichuan disaster area. Together, we made our
activities more attractive and our culture exchange more effective. And together, we are
gradually building a culturally richer community.
As you all know, Dr. Zhang, Lixin has taken over this duty. I encourage all members
continue support our community activities. You may have either already found, or if not,
soon you will find Dr. Zhang is a very capable and responsible individual that is always
a pleasure to work with. I firmly believe his talent and leadership will take our community
to the next high level.
